11th December results

Wednesday Ladies Monthly Medal Stroke 6 December 2023

A group of 13 played stroke/monthly medal. Players did well to negotiate a little

water on the course and come in with good scores. Angela Morton won the day (70

net) on a countback from Carol Dear. Chrissy Downs and Margaret Learmonth were

in the ball pool also with scores of 72 and 73 nett. Michelle Dillon had nearest the pin

on the 9 th . Margaret Learmonth had the least number of putts – 25.

Start time will be 9 for 9:30 am from now on. Players are asked to book in on 1 golf if

they are able otherwise just come along. The last competition day will be December

20 th . We will have afternoon tea at the club rooms after golf on that day so plan to

stay or come to join us.

Ladies Wednesday Golf will resume on January 10 th .

Thursday R & R Stableford

28 members and guests played a stableford round today and the man of the moment

is Kevin Lane who scored 42 points. Runner up with a good score of 39 was Tony

Hall. Others in the Ball pool were T Laughlin & G Wyte 38, G McNeil & J Pay 37. The

much sort after PEN Award went to Captain Jack. NTP’s went tp D Thompson

(visitor from Lakeside GC), 5 th C Waterson, 9 th A Free, 13 th G Wyte and B Gladman

on 16 th .

Saturday Greenwood Mugge and Ladies Goblet 9 December 2023

A big turnout for day’s event with 32 men and 6 Ladies. Some very good scores

were had. The best for the Men was Andrew Spitty with 41 points (course record 64)

off a handicap of =2! Ladies Goblet winner was Jan Harry with 36 points off a

handicap of 12. Others inn the Ball Pool were, G Teasdale & P Lloyd 40, D Wood

(hole in one man) 38, G Wyte & C Manners 37. NTP’s went to 3 rd A Spitty, 5 th P

Lloyd, 9 th C Gray, 13 th S Dinsdale and 16 th A Spitty.
