18th February results — Kerang Golf and Bowls

Wednesday Ladies Stableford 14 February 2024

12 ladies entered today’s competition in very cool conditions after last night’s fierce wind and

rain. One of our dual members from Lakeside, Mandy Ackland won the day with 35 points,

from evergreen Rhonda Willoughby on 34. Others in the Ball Pool were Meagan Taylor and

Deanne Free with 33. Chino’s NTP on the 9 th went to Joyce Boyd.

Thursday R & R Stableford 15 February 2024

With the cooler weather 28 members entered the Stableford event. The winner was kevin

Lane with a sizzling score of 43, to leave the field well behind. Ball Pool went to P Lloyd 40,

C Waterson 39, G McNeil & K Chase 37. Captain Jack won the coveted pen award. NTP’s

went to 3 rd B McDougall, 5 th T Hall, 9 th G McNeil, 13 th K Lane and 16 th C Waterson.

Saturday 17 February 2024 Water Partners 4BBB Stableford

A very strong field of male and female golfers (22 Pairs) entered today’s competition, with

Mandy Ackland & Deanne Free winning the ladies Section with 46 points. In the Men’s

section Martin Kelly & Ronald Dillon were the winners with 47 points. Other scores were, T

Laughlin/J Pay 45, C Gray/B Shay 44, S Worner/K Chase and J Hewitt/ M Wilson 43 and J

Waterson/J Harry 41. NTP’s 3 rd S Worner, 5 th R Dillon, 9 th B Gibson, 13 th J Hewitt and 16 th K

Chase.
