1st February golf results

AUTOPRO Australia Day Ambrose 26 January 2021

A crowd of over 80 golfers turned up for one of our most popular events. The winners of the day were the team of Scott and Jan Harry, Red Manners and Brad Cummings, coming in with a score of 62 – 7.5 = 54.5. Over 2 points further behind was Gav Teasdale, Shane Dibsdale, Dave Gray and Blake Shay with 63 – 6.38 = 56.62, third place was the Spitty family of Andrew, Kate and two of their kids Olive and Mabel, they had 66 – 9.13 = 56.87. 

The nearest the pins went to Cody Tuohey 3rd, Simon Kelly 5th, Jan Harry 9th, John Dee 13th and Shane Dibsdale on the 16th. Many thanks to all golfers and of course our sponsors of the day Bruce and Nola Wright and the team at Autopro.

Wednesday ladies Golf 27 January 2021

With Australia Day celebrations out of the way 11 ladies fronted up for everyone’s favourite golf game… par! Olive Spitty made the most of our beautiful course to finish up +2 and to record a magnificent 72 off the stick – our course record! Jenny Waterson was runner up with -1. Shirley Jenner claimed a ball with -2 and Rhonda Willoughby’s -3 got her into the ball pool. Chino’s Nearest the pin on the 9th also went to Olive.

Thursday Golf R & R Day 28th January 2021

Probably our most prolific winner of Thursday’s, has been Geoff Williams (17)and he has done it again with 39points. Well done to Geoff who always plays his best on these days. The ball pool was Alan Free (19)36, Peter Roberts (18) 35, Graham Wyte (12) 34 and John Murphy (24) 33 got the last ball on a count back from Max Wilson (16). The nearest the pins went to Gray Thorne 3rd, 5th Don Ross, 9th Phil Lloyd, 13th Graham Wyte and no one landed on the 16th.

Saturday Golf 30th January 2021

On a glorious day for golf, almost 50 golfers hit track to try and beat the course, but as always I think that the course probably won outright over all. One bloke that did have a good day was Casey Gillen (20), without the constant chatter of Hoggy in his ear, who won with 40 points. Ladies winner was the Captain Michelle Dillon (8) with 36 points from Deaniee Henderson (21) 29. In the ball pool was Peter Jones (18) 39, Chris Waterson (4) 38, Graham Wyte (12) 38, Gavin Teasdale (12) 37, David Gray (18) 36, Doug Meehan (6) and Josh Free (34) both 35, Col Wilkie (13) and Joe Tartaglia (13) 34. Nearest to the pins were, Phil Lloyd on the 3rd, Joe Tartaglia 5th, Bryan Livingston 9th and Gary Thorne got the 16th. Chris Waterson had the best stroke score with 73 and Frank Cianci won the pen.

Don’t forget twilight golf on Tuesday’s tee off is anywhere between 4:00 and 6:00 pm for nine holes this is a great introduction for those who want to try golf so bring a few mates and join in the fun.
