18th May Ladies Golf

 

Only 6 ladies played stableford this week. Michelle had the best score with 33 points, followed by Rhonda with 31 points. Chrissy was nearest the pin on the 9th. Rosie has a new pen to remember her day.

 

Our Gold Watch event is coming up so donations for the raffle (grocery box) are needed. Next week is a 9:30 am assembly for 10 am hit off. All welcome to play.

Thursday R & R Stableford

A good field for today’s Stableford event (20), with the last group in bringing in the winner, Wayne O’Neill, with 40 points. Ball Pool was D Wood 36, J Tartaglia 35 and R Nesbit 34. NTP’s went to Chris Waterson 3rd & 16th, 5th J Hewitt, 13th R Nesbit and the 9th went begging again! 

Saturday Golf

A nice day for golf on Saturday and of the golfers that played Graham Wyte (12) played the best to win with 37 points. Graham has been very consistent of late, and this win was well deserved. Ladies’ winner was Donna Grant (22) on 34 pts, who is on the comeback trail after a long break and she won on a countback from our youngest golfer Mabel Spitty (25) who just happened to be playing with our oldest golfer Rhonda Willoughby. In the ball pool we had Mabel, Tony Laughlin (9) and Jan Harry (13) who both had 33 pts. nearest the pins were Ross Nesbit on the 3rd and 9th, Jan Harry got the money on 13 and Mabel Spitty with her first shot of the day won it on the 16th and no one managed to land on the 5th.

Sunday golf 

Our Golconda 4P Ambrose day drew a big crowd of over 60 golfers and the winners were the Spitty family of Andrew, Olive, Sadie and Mabel with a score of 62 – 7.4 = 54.6. R/up were Tony and Rosie Laughlin, David wood and Ross Nesbit with 65 – 7.9 = 57.1. nearest the pins went to Andrew Spitty 3rd, Ian Kees 5th, Mabel Spitty 9th (which was very close to a hole in one), Chris Waterson 13th and Peter Hall on the 16th.
