/Wednesday Ladies report 21 August 2024
On a miserable day for golf, five eager ladies set out to tame the course. Michelle Dillon was
the winner with 35 points, followed by Jan Milne and Ange Morton on 32 points, then Rosie
Laughlin on 31 and jill Marshall on 28. Chino’s NTP went to Ange Morton.
Thursday R & R Stableford 22 August 2024
On a better day for golf, 22 members entered the competition, and the winner was kevin
Lane scoring 37 points. Ballpool went to S Dibsdale 36, C Waterson, D Ellwood and B
Shields all on 33points. The highlight of the day was a Hole in One for Tony Hall on the Third
Hole. NTP’s went to T Hall the 3 rd , J Pay the 5 th , C Wilkie the 9 th , B Shields the 13 th and S
Dibsdale the 16 th .
Saturday Stableford and Par Plus 24 August 2024
Captain Jack sprung a surprise on members introducing an extra game within a game,
called Par Plus! 22 entered, and the winner of the Men’s event went to T Laughlin with 37
points. The lady’s winner was M Dillon with 38 points. Ballpool went to R Gannon 37, C
manners 36, D Wood and G Service on 35 C/B. The winner of Par Plus was C manners with
+3. NTP’s went to G Wyte 3 rd , 5 th /9 th /13 th C Manners (well done Chris) and 16 th T Laughlin.
The Pen Award went to G Kennedy.
