Ladies Wednesday golf

The Monthly medal Shirt was the Major prize for the Wednesday ladies. This week 11 ladies took on the course, in crisp weather. Chrissy Downs enjoyed not working in the office for the day, to have a great score breaking 100 for the first time (99-31=68), to win the shirt, from Runner-up, Michelle Dillon (77-9=68). In the Ball pool were Angela Morton(92-20=72), Michell baker (97-22=75). Michelle Dillon had the least putts with 26 and Angela Morton had a great shot on the Chino’s 9th hole NTP.

Thank you to the Ladies who have been playing in the tournaments in the district, most times coming home with a prize.

Thursday R & R Stableford

21 players set out to tame the course in chilly, sunny weather and the course overall had a win!

AJ Laughlin had a good day scoring 38 points to win from, Don Ross, Alan Free and Rhonda Willoughby all on 37 points and the last in the Ball Pool was Wayne O’Neill on 36 points.

NTP’s went to A J Laughlin on the 3rd, Chris Gray on the 5th & 9th, nobody made the 13th and Doug Meehan on the 16th.

Saturday Golf 10th July

A big field of over 40 players enjoyed a very good day on the course, but the scores didn’t reflect how good the day was. Winner of this month’s Greenwood Mugge was David Stubbs (28) on a c/b from the Captain Scott Harry (12) both with 37 points. Winner of the Ladies Goblet for this month was again our youngest player Mabel Spitty (43) on 38 pts from Jan Harry (14) on 35. All those in the ball pool were Scott Harry, Chris Waterson (4), Allan Free (16) and Frank Ritchie (19) all on 36, Jan Harry 35, Tony Laughlin (10) and Michelle Dillon (8) each on 34 and Ross Nesbit (10) got the last ball pool on c/b from David Wood (12), Graham Wyte (10) and Rhonda Willoughby (22) all on 33. The nearest the pins went to Phil Duffy (visitor from Yarra Yarra) on the 3rd, Doug Meehan 5th, Gav Teasdale 9th, Peter Jones won the money on 13th and Gav Teasdale on the 16th.
