Ladies Golf 27/10/2021

The warmer day suited several of the fifteen ladies who played. Perhaps the incentive of being able to have a proper competition helped. The winner was Meryl Cameron (38 points) closely followed by Nola Robinson (37 points. ) The ball pool winners were Jenny Waterson, Carol Dear and Shirley Jenner on a countback from Lorraine Ritchie.

On the 9th Joyce Boyd was nearest the pin and Nola Robinson on the 13th.

Quite a bit of coin was dropped into the fine jar, so it was not plain sailing for all.

Our captain told us to enjoy stableford as there are several rounds of stroke to come. Next week it will be Medallist of the year. The following 3 weeks will be taken up with club championships.

The highlight of the day was perhaps our laughter over coffee at the end of the day.
