Twenty Four golfers challenged the course today, after 30mm of rain, with Doug Meehan winning the event with 36 points. Ball Pool was Jean Youl and Luke Hadfield with 35 points, Tony Laughlin and Graham Wyte with 34 points.
The Winner of the, much sought after pen, went to W O’Neill on 21 points.

Saturday Monthly 6 November 2021 Medal Stroke
Thirty Five Ladies and Men ventured out in at times windy conditions. The Ladies winner was Caitlin McKissack of Lalbert GC, with 107-47=60.
Runner-up was Jean Youl with 87-22=65. The Men’s winner was Casey Gillen 89-20=69. Runner-up was Chris Waterson with 73-2=71.

On Cup day, a small field of golfers teed off for a game of stableford and Ross Nesbit (11) had a good day to win with 38 points. Runner up was Peter Jones (14) on 37 pts in the ball pool was Chris Waterson (2), Michelle Dillon (8) and Greg Gin (15) all on 35 pts. Nearest the pins were Rob Fabry on the 5th, Michelle Dillon 9th, Jan Harry 13th, Scott Harry the 16th and no one landed on the 3rd.
Gold Watch
In perfect weather we held our Gold Watch 4Ball sponsored by Wishart Jewellers. Three teams ended up on 46 pts and the winners on c/b were David Wood and Stephen Gillingham. Runners up was Jim Clark and Peter Hall and third place went to Gavin Teasdale and Blake Shay. Nearest the pins were Doug Meehan on the 3rd and 5th, Joel Woolhouse 9th, Robert Giles 13th and Tony Laughlin on the 16th.
First round of our Championships start this Saturday and the week after is our annual tournament with a 4Ball for men and Women on Thursday the Pat Mcknight Trophy on Saturday incorporating the 2nd round of championships and a 3 Person ambrose on Sunday so please golfers put your names down onto bookatee.com for these events and hope to see you all there.
