Par was the game for the girls today and Meryl Cameron had blinder of a day winning the Chino’s NTP voucher, as well as scoring the win with +4, which was streets ahead of the runner-up Michelle Dillon with -6.

Thursday R & R Stableford 16 June 2022

On a day with a damp start 20 golfers, including a visitor from Wyong GC Stephen French. Ray Gannon (32) had a blinder of a day to win with 41 points. In the Ball Pool, Phil Lloyd (11) and Kevin Lane (17) both on 37 and Andrew Spitty (+2) got the last ball on a c/b from his daughter Olive (1), they were on 34. Nearest the pins were a family affair for the Spitty’s as Andrew got 13th and 16th, Olive on the 5th and Mabel 9th and Rob Fabry spoiled the show by picking up the 3rd. President Terry Turvey (12) obviously is not much of a mudlark as he won the pen on c/b from John Murphy.

Saturday Golf

In what was the best day for golf weather wise in ages, it was spoiled when golfers turned up only for Captain Jack to announce we were playing Par. Best of the men was recently joined, Robert Dick (25) on c/b from David Wood (10) with both player’s square. Ladies’ winner Jean Youl (22) continued with her winning streak, for her 2up. Ball Pool was David Wood, Geraldine Kennedy (39), Kevin Lane (17) both on 1 down, Phil Lloyd (10), Shirley Jenner(23) and Brendan Shields (13) all on 2 down, rounded out the Ball Pool with Scott Harry (13) and Roger Pay (15) missing out on c/b. Sharp shooters on the par 3’s were Kevin Lane on 3rd and 16th, Doug Ellwood 5th, Chris Waterson 9th and Jack Hewitt got the money on the 13th and with a smile on his face Max Wilson won the pen award.
