Ladies Golf Wednesday 17 May 2023

Golfing conditions were perfect for the Stableford round. It was good to welcome back Rhonda Willoughby and Meagan Taylor. Geraldine Kennedy played a great round with 36 points; to win the day. Meryl Cameron and Michelle were in the ball pool with 34 points. Rosie Laughlin also made the ball pool with 30 points. Meryl Cameron had a terrific drive on the 9th to be nearest the pin.

All are welcome to play on a Wednesday.

We have our Gold Watch tournament next week (Friday 26th) so get your entries in. It is a 9:30 assembly for a 10 am hit off.

Thursday R & R Stableford 18 May 2023

25 members entered the competition, on a very good day for golf. The winner was Allan Free with 39 points. In the Ball Pool were K Chase 37, C Waterson & P Lloyd 35 and W O’Neill 33 c/b.

NTP’s went to A Free on the 3rd & 9th, K Lane 5th, P Lloyd 13th and T Laughlin 16th.

Saturday Stableford 20 May 2023

Another mild day and with 6 players going out in the morning, leaving 18 to play in the afternoon. The winner being a morning player, Kevin Chase, with 38 points. Ball Pool went to R Schultze 37, A Free 37, K McKerrow, T Turvey & J Murphy all on 35. The Pen award went to Captain Jack.

NTP’s went to T Turvey 3rd, K Lane 5th & Superpin, M Dillon 9th and 16th went begging again.
