Ladies Results

Numbers were boosted on Wednesday, with people still on holidays. Deaniee Henderson (22) enjoyed her day-off, having a great score of 39 points, to win the Chino’s voucher. Thanks Raylene for your support, we appreciate it. Carol Dear (24) has been hitting the ball well lately and had a nice 38 points, just ahead of our youngest member Mabel Spitty (28) proudly wearing her bright green Monthly Medal shirt, had 36 points.

Some of our ladies have been breaking their handicaps. Jan Harry who broke to (12) on Saturday after 44 points, collected the Pen today! Olive Spitty has been travelling the country side and playing on some amazing courses, is now playing off (2) at Kerang. Olive had the shot of the day on the 9th Chino’s NTP. Congratulations Olive on your Commonwealth Golf Scholarship. You are amazingand we cannot wait to see what the future brings for you. Proud dad Andrew Spitty is now playing off (+4) at Kerang.

Next Week is Australia Day 4 person Ambrose Any Combination, so get your teams together, hit off is 12.45 pm. Good hitting. Cheers Your Captain.

Thursday Golf

Kevin Sambrooks (17) had a day to remember this day or maybe he scammed his playing partners out of some of their points but he won the day with 41 points. Next best was Deaniee Henderson (21) 39 and the rest of the ball pool was Andrew Spitty (+3) 37, Kevin Lane (17) 36, Joe Tartaglia (15) and Olive Spitty (2) both on 34 points rounded out the ball winners. Nearest the pins were Deaniee Henderson 3rd, Olive Spitty 5th, Andrew Spitty 9th, Ron Schultze 13th and Max Wilson 16th. Highlight of the day was the eagle on 14 of Andrew Spitty and once again he equalled his course record of 67. This is about the fourth time I think that he has equalled it so hopefully soon he will set a new mark.
