30th May Results

Ladies Golf – Wednesday May 26th  

It was like a scene out of a Hitchcock movie at ladies golf this week, with a rogue crow wreaking havoc on the fairways by stealing 10 balls from some very disgruntled players. Jenny Waterson took it all in her stride as she claimed victory in our favorite game of par with an impressive +2. Jenny was the only golfer to finish with a positive score, followed by Michelle Dillon and Rhonda Willoughby with -2 and Geraldine Kennedy with -3. Michelle also won the Chino’s Nearest The Pin on the 9th.

Thursday R & R Stableford

Twenty-five hardy souls set off (for their last game of golf until the Lockdown ends??) in cold blustery, conditions. The winner was Don Ross (8) with 38 points, runner-up was Kevin Sambrooks (15) with 35 points. The Ball pool was Jean Youl, T Laughlin, Anthony Robertson, all on 34 points, in a countback from 3 others. Don Ross had the best stroke score of 77.
