3rd April results

Ladies Golf Wednesday 28th March 2023

Four groups of 3 set out, hoping for good scores in the Stableford round. However, the heavier conditions (after 11 mm rain) proved to be tricky. We welcomed a visitor, Kathy Linkson, who was the day’s winner with 33 points. Nine putts in nine holeswas an excellent effort. In the Ball Pool were jean Youl and Carol Dear. Nearest the pin on Chino’s 9th hole was Shirley Jenner. The Pen award was closely contested but Jo Martin was the winner.

Thursday R & R Stableford 29th March 2023

David Knight (15) picked the right day to take off from work and won the day with 37 pts, followed closely one point behind was Spud McKerrow (29) on 36. In the ball pool apart from those two were Joe Tartaglia (13) 35 and Kevin Chase (27) on 34. Nearest the pins went to Mark Flynn on the 3rd, Chris Waterson 5th, no one on the 9th, David Knight 13th and Allan Free on the 16th.

Saturday Golf 

A bit breezy this day for our monthly medal but Chris Gray (13) handled it pretty well to win with a nett 69. Ladies’ winner for the day was Jan Harry (11) with a nett 72 and she was a long way in front of Ladies R/up Jean Youl (21) 77. The ball pool for the day was Allan Free (20), Luke Hadfield (9) and Tony Laughlin (9) all with nett 72, Chris Waterson (4) and Brendan Shields (12) on nett 73 each. Nearest the pins were Jan Harry on 3rd and the 13th money hole, Brendan Shields 5th, David Gray 9th and Deaniee Henderson on the 16th. Next week is Easter and on the Saturday is the Greenwood mug and on Easter Monday we are having a 2P Ambrose any combination so get your names on to www.bookatee.com.au/kerang for that day. Pennant starts on the 16th of April so please make yourself available we are in Division 1 and 2 and we would like a couple more names so get them into Scott Harry.
