The ladies copped the brunt of the weather on Wednesday, so there is no report this week. Hopefully they can get a game in, this coming week.
Thursday R & R Stableford 29 June 2023
Now the course is drying out a few more golfers (21) turned out for R & R Day and our big lefty, Barry Gladman (26), won the day with 36 pts from Phil Lloyd (11) on 34. The others in the ball pool were Graham Wyte (13) 34, Wayne O’Neill (22) and Col Wilkie (10) both on 32 and Luke Hadfield (9) missed out on c/b. Nearest the pins were Jack Hewitt 3rd and the 9th, Luke Hadfield 5th, Col Wilkie on the 13th and nobody landed on 16.
Saturday Golf
A good round up of golfers on Saturday and a visitor from Corowa, Craig Scown (10), won the stroke day on c/b from 2 others with a net 71. Winner of July’s monthly Medal was Tony Laughlin (11) with nett 71 and the Ladies winner was Meryl Cameron (17) from Chrissy Downs (26). The rest of the ball pool was Roger Pay (13) 71, Jack Hewitt (11) and Tony Hall (18) net 72 each and Kevin Chase (23) got the last ball on c/b from Trent O’Neill (17). Nearest the pins went to Brad Short 3rd, Kevin Lane 5th , Kevin Chase 9th, Jordan Simpson 13th and Jack Hewitt on the 16th.
