26th June results

Wednesday Ladies Stableford 21 June 2023

A small number of Ladies ventured out to play golf on a bitterly cold morning. Carol Dear was the winner of the day with 33 points. Runner-up was Shirley Jenner with 28 points and Deaniee Henderson received the only ball in the ball pool, with 27 points. Chino’s NTP Voucher went to Rosie Laughlin on the 9th.

Thursday R & R Stableford 22 June 2023

There were 14 members playing in the competition, with rain fast approaching, 14mm fell by next morning. The winner was Bradley Short (10) 36 points, K Chase (23), P Lloyd (10) and T Turvey (14) all had 34 points. NTP’s went to 5th G Wyte, 9th B Short and 13th T Turvey. The 3rd and 16th were left untouched. 

Saturday Stableford 24 June 2023

After the rain on Thursday totalling almost 100mm for the month the course was very wet in places which made scoring difficult and long. One player that didn’t have any trouble with the course was Neil Carmichael (35) who came in with 41 points. Ladies’ winner was Jan Harry (12) on 33 pts from Jean Youl (22) 32. In the ball pool were Kevin Lane (15) 35, Tony Laughlin (11) and Phil Lloyd (10) both on 33, Roger Pay (13) and Jean Youl on 32 each. Nearest the pins were Jack Hewitt 3 rd, Neil Carmichael 5th and Kevin Chase won the money on the 13th. 

A stroke round for the monthly medal next week so hopefully no rain this week so the course can dry out and play well, so see you all then.
