Ladies Golf – monthly medal 2/2/2022

The cooler weather encouraged 12 ladies out to golf. Little did they know that they would have to battle strong wind up the fairways. It is not until you walk the course that you realise the extent of the storm damage. A great team of workers has been clearing the debris and making play possible.

Monthly medal winner was Joyce Boyd with a net 73 score. Runner up was Meryl Cameron (75 net) and Jan Harry was also in the ball pool with 77 net.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was won by Michelle (with a birdie) and Ruth McAlister had the least number of putts.

It was lovely to welcome back Rhonda Willoughby to golf after several months away. She was rewarded with a new pen. She certainly knows how to hit a straight ball.

We look forward to the return of more players next week at 9 am for 9:30 am
