Ladies results

Jill Marshall (35) proved that practice pays off, having a fantastic round scoring 43 points. In the process dropping her handicap by 2 strokes, well done Jill.

Ang Grauzellis (32) also had a good round scoring 40 points. Geradine Kennedy (38) was seeing the ball well scoring 39 points. Visitor Barb Cadd (21) scored 37 points. Carol Dear (22) and Meryl Cameron (16) taking out the last balls in the ball pool.

NTP’s, 9th Chino’s was Shelley Wilkins (visitor) and 3rd was Lyn Bishop (visitor). Deanne Frame, didn’t go home empty handed, taking home the Pen!

We had 8 ladies from Murray Downs join our competition, Teeing off on our new special time sheet for visitors. They thanked Kerang Golf Club for having them and thought our course was great. 2020 has been a different year so far and everyone is a bit out of sorts, even the magpies giving a couple of ladies a hard time on the course. Jenny Waterson has a fear of birds and nearly took out Ang!

Meagan Taylor has put in her second handicap card.

This mere male has been taken to task for printing that the upcoming ladies Club Championships were over 4 weeks, so please take note!! September 9th, 16th  and 23rd are the official dates. My apologies Ladies.

Next week (if allowed under the Stage 3 restrictions) will be Stroke Monthly Medal, hit off 10am.

Nearest the pins were Ash Mangan on the 3rd, Laurie Gray on the 5th , Deaniee Henderson 9th, Jack Hewitt 13th and David Conlan on the 16th . The pen winning team was Cody Touhey, Michael Runciman, Jim Apostolelis and Riley Keighran and the best stroke score came from Gary Thorne, Jarrad Walker, Chris and Jen Waterson who had 63 off the stick.

Just a reminder to all golfers to repair plug marks on the greens and please fill divots on the fairways and be careful of the swooping magpie on the 17th fairway corner. At the time of writing unless things change golfers will be required to wear masks while they are playing golf.
