14th December results
/Morning Wyty, here’s my report 🤦♀️7 Kerang ladies golfers took on the back 9 twice with Nola Robinson (33) taking home the major prize with 37pts, Michelle Dillon (8) 34pts & Geradine Kennedy (37) 30pts was very happy to take gone a ball in the ball pool, Dilly ntp on chinos 9th, welcome back to Meryl Cameron after a few weeks off & congratulations to Olive on her successful weekend last week in Ballarat, don’t forget our Christmas get together on wed 16th at sporties 6-6.30, the greens are looking fantastic after the recent coring a bit of pain for a lot of gain well done Tony & his band of workers cheers your lady captain (most powerful women in the club) 🤣
Twilight Golf
A good night for golf and a very good win went to Brad Short who had a 43 – 6.5 = 36.5, R/up was Mark Henderson 55 – 17 = 38 and third was Ron Schultze 51 – 12 = 39. Nearest the pins were Chris Gray on the 13th and Brad Short on the 16th. Something different this year is that every time you play Twilight your name goes in the draw for a $150 gift voucher from Halls Hardware so the more times you play the more entries you get. Over the Twilight season a $25 Voucher will be given to the golfers that get the overall nearest the pin on all par 3’s.
Thursday Golf
Our President Terry Turvey (12) made to most of the good weather to win on a countback from Ron Schultze (24) both on 38 points the others in the ball pool were Tony Laughlin (10) 36, Kevin Sambrooks (18) and Graham Wyte (11) both on 34. Nearest the pins were Deaniee Henderson on the 3rd, Frank Ritchie on the 5th, 9th to Ron Thouliss, 13th went to Ron Schultze and Don Ross won on the 16th.
Saturday Golf
Well, we can all expect both WADA and ASADA to call upon Ron Schultze (24) this week for a drug test because Ron won with the amazing score off 48 points to win the day and go home with the Greenwood Mugge, well done Sarge. Second place was Chris Gray (14), who after coming in with 42 pts must have almost thought he had the Mugge.
Ladies winner was Michelle Dillon (8) with 33 pts and R/up was Jess Worner (30) from Lalbert with 31. In the ball pool was Dave Conlan 40, Mark Henderson 38, Doug Ellwood 37, Col Wilkie and Terry Turvey both on 36. Nearest the pins were Chase Worner on the 3rd, 5th Gav Teasdale, 9th Don Ross, Heather Hogan (our GA Regional Rep) from Birchip got the money on the 13th and John Murphy was best on the 16th.
