17th May Results

Ladies Golf – Wednesday May 12th  

A magic Autumn day greeted 11 lady golfers for this week’s Chino’s stableford event. The sun shone most favourably on Jenny Waterson, who finished with 37 points, including an exceptional birdie on the 7th. Jill Marshall continued her golfing resurgence with 34 points along with Meryl Cameron also on 34. Shirley Jenner’s 33 saw her sneak into the ball pool on a countback from Rosie Laughlin and Michelle Dillon. Michelle was rewarded however, for a great shot on the 9th to take home the Nearest the pin.

Don’t forget the Gold Watch day on Friday May 28th. Grab a partner and get your entries in!

Next Wednesday we want everyone to be warmer and more relaxed… so the starting time is moving to 9.30 for 10.  See you out there! 

Thursday R & R Golf

The day started for 27 hardy golfers, with fine sunny weather but deteriorated into a cold blustery wind, with Rob Fabry (19) winning on a count back from Nola Robinson (30) with 39 points. Well done Rob that makes 2 weeks running being the winner. Others in the Ball Pool were S Shanks (17) 38pts, T Laughlin (9) 37pts, 

K Sambrooks (17) and M Dillon both on 35pts. NTP’s went to 3rd G Wyte, 5th 

K Williams, 9th none, 13th N Robinson and 16th K Sambrooks.
