Well a good field of players battled the conditions on Thursday and the best one to come out of it was Gary Thorne (4) with 36 pts. His front nine was not his best with 3 bogies in the first four holes but a birdie on 6th and another bogie on 8th and par on 9th, saw him at the turn feeling pretty happy with himself and then going round the back nine only one over par had him in the clubhouse as our winner for the day. Others in the ball pool were Don Ross (7) and Greg McNeil (20) both on 35
Michelle Dillon (8) 34 and Rob Fabry (19) won the last ball on a count back from two others. Nearest the pins were won by Wayne Cook on the 3rd , Doug Ellwood 5th , Graham Wyte 9th , Don Ross 13th and Greg Gin on the 16th . Andrew Spitty just pipped Gary Thorne for the best stroke score of the day with a 74 and Col Wilkie welcomed a new pen into his house with his score.

Although the weather was starting too cool and because there’s no footy, numbers are still good so it’s so good to see so many people on the course enjoying our great facilities thanks to our greenskeepers.
Gary Hayes (17) belied his recent form and put in a good day in the wind to win with 39 pts and topped off his good day with a birdie on the last hole. Ladies winner was the very excitable Chrissy Downs (36) who saw all the practise she’s been putting in lately come to fruition to win with 37 pts. Pipping Joyce Boyd (23) on 35. In the ball pool still in good form, Gary Thorne (4) and Andrew Spitty (+1) on 37, Joyce Boyd, Geoff Guy (23), Peter Wilson (13) and Col Wilkie (14) all on 35, Rob Fabry (19) 34, Logan Keighran (3), Michelle Dillon (8) and Rosie Laughlin (37) all on 33. The nearest the pins were Joyce Boyd 3rd , Jack Hewitt 5th, 9th Shane Dibsdale and Luke Hadfield won the money on the 13th.
The best stroke score for the day was a 69 from Andrew Spitty and Deaniee Henderson tried
her best and actually did win the pen much to her delight.

Another cold and windy day so numbers weren’t as good, but the brave ones ventured out and the best of the brave was Jan Harry (13) with 39 pts to street home to win by 4 from Graham Wyte (12) on 35. In the ball pool was Graham Wyte and Jenny Waterson (21) got the last ball on a count back from her husband, oh to be a fly on the wall when they got home, Col Wilkie (15) and Michelle Dillon (8) all on 34.
The nearest the pins went to no one on the 3rd, 5th, Michelle Dillon got 9th and 1 th and
