8th March results

Twilight Golf

On the second last night of Twilight in good weather Joel Gray had the best of the night to win with 42 – 11 = 31 and behind him was Poddy Free on 42 – 9.5 = 32.5 in t3rd place was Brian Doyle with 49 – 14.5 = 34.5. Joel Gray got ntp’s on the 3rd and 5th to cap off a good night and Chrissy Downs got the money on the 9th. Tonight is the last night of Twilight golf and there will be a sausage sizzle afterwards and our draw for prizes and overall nearest the pins for the twilight season so come along and enjoy the night.

Thursday Golf 

Well Donny Ross (9) has done it again with his second win in a row on Thursday golf only this week he went 5 points better to win the day with 42 pts from Gary Thorne (5) on 38. Coincidently both players had the best stroke score for the day with 74 each. The others in the ball pool were Kevin Sambrooks (16) 36, Max Wilson (16), and Michelle Dillon (8) got the last 2 balls on a c/b from Simon Shanks (17) all on 35 pts. Nearest the pins were Simon Shanks on the 5th, Don Ross 9th, Tony Laughlin 13th, Max Wilson 16th and no one landed on the 3rd. Ron Thoulliss won the pen for his great game.

Saturday Golf

Monthly Medal day and Gary Hayes (18) handled the wind best to win with a 69 nett. Ladies winner for the day was Michelle Dillon (7) 75 nett. The ball pool consisted of Graham Wyte (12) 70, Max Wilson (16) 70, Allan Free (19), Tony Laughlin (9) and Gary Thorne (4) all on 71 nett and Doug Meehan (5) got the last ball on a c/b from Dave Conlan (20) both with 72 nett. Nearest the pins went to Doug Meehan 3rd and 9th, David Gray on the 5th and 16th and Graham Wyte got the money on the 13th. Once again Gray Thorne kept his good form going to again win best stroke score with 75 and Gavin Teasdale gleefully accepted the pen with he’s fine score.
